My name is Rose Bartu, owner of FREEDOM THROUGH SONGWRITING. I teach and mentor Songwriters and Musicians to reawaken their joy for musical self-expression, unlock their stories, and become unleashed Songwriters. 🎵 I was an Associate Professor at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NYC, before relocating to Austria to raise my son closer to my original family. I am an Austrian/American independent recording artist. My last self-produced album was accepted in 10 categories of the Grammy ballots.

Join me live for an hour (in our private Facebook group), and I show you how you can figure out what your exact next steps are to move you further along YOUR songwriting journey, going from frustration to becoming liberated and free as a songwriter.

🎤 3. Saturday 7/6/2024:  🎤 Open Mic Session

Join me live for an hour (in our private Facebook group) and watch me work with a couple of people on their own song ideas, so you can get inspired to start YOUR next song. (presubmitted songs first)

 

🗝 4.Sunday 7/7/2024: 🗝 Listening Session

I have no music experience and don’t play an instrument, can I join the Songwriting Experience?

Yes, absolutely! All you need is a desire to learn, a willingness to open yourself up to new information, and to implement the coaching. You get out of it what you put in! The Songwriting Intensive is based on my FREE PDF "The 7 Steps to Unlocking Your Inner Songwriter" (download it HERE), which I wrote so that even a total beginner can start writing songs. It is the method I discovered when I was writing over 40 songs in 57 days, and after I already had an album accepted on the Grammy ballots.

I am a technophobe and this “online thing” is a bit scary. What do I need to know?

The live sessions are delivered in a private Facebook group. You only need to have a Facebook profile, access to emails, and access to the internet. No tech skills are required!
